Herbionik® Low Maintenance lawn seed is designed to provide a dense, green, and durable lawn, while reducing mowing and watering needs once established. Ideal for poor or sandy soils, it is suitable for very sunny or partially shaded areas.

Composition

• 23% Hard Fescue (Nanook / Reliant)

• 20% Perennial Ryegrass (Sunburst / Dominator) *E

• 20% Creeping Red Fescue (Boreal)

• 20% Chewings Fescue (Shadow III / Cascade) *E

• 17% Kentucky Bluegrass (Action / Rockstar / Paloma)

*E = Endophyte-containing varieties

Directions for use

Existing sparse lawn:

1. Mow the lawn to 5 cm (2 in).

2. Spread seeds evenly over the entire surface.

3. Add a thin layer of soil (maximum 6 mm or 1/4 in) to cover the seeds.

4. Keep the soil moist for at least three weeks to ensure germination.

New lawn:

1. Clear the surface of all debris and weeds.

2. Add a 15 to 20 cm (6 to 8 in) layer of topsoil, then rake.

3. Distribute seeds evenly in two different directions (north-south and east-west) using a rotary spreader.

4. Add a thin layer of soil (maximum 6 mm or 1/4 in) to cover the seeds.

5. Keep the soil moist for at least three weeks to ensure germination.

Tips for optimal results

• Add Herbionik® rooting fertilizer to stimulate healthy root establishment.

• Use the complete Herbionik® fertilization program to prevent the spread of invasive weeds.

• Germination is optimal when soil temperature ranges from 14°C to 25°C and humidity remains constant.
