About the Position

The Cloutier Botanix Garden Center is looking for plant attendants to help with the maintenance, setup, and presentation of plants, while also providing basic customer support.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with plants, outdoors, and as part of a team, in a seasonal and dynamic environment.

Main Responsibilities

Plant Maintenance

• Ensure daily watering of plants
• Check the condition of plants and report any problems (stress, diseases, insects)
• Clean, prune, and maintain plants as needed

Setup and Organization

• Participate in the reception and setup of plants
• Move and organize plants according to guidelines
• Keep sections clean, safe, and well-presented

Customer Support

• Answer basic customer questions
• Direct customers to the right products or advisors
• Offer courteous and professional assistance

Desired Profile

• Interest in plants and gardening
• Good physical condition
• Sense of responsibility and reliability
• Team spirit and positive attitude
• Ability to work outdoors

Requirements

• Availability for a variable and seasonal schedule
• Experience with plants or in maintenance (an asset)
• Horticultural training (an asset, not mandatory)

Working Conditions

• Work primarily outdoors and in a greenhouse
• Active and seasonal environment
• Variable schedule depending on the season
