The Herbionik® Deep Shade lawn seed is specially formulated for shaded areas, such as spaces under trees or areas receiving a minimum of 3 hours of sunlight per day. Adapted to harsh climates, it helps to obtain a dense, green, and resistant lawn.

• 30% Creeping Red Fescue (Shadow III / Cascade) *E

• 30% Perennial Ryegrass (Sunburst / Dominator) *E

• 25% Creeping Red Fescue (Boreal)

• 10% Rough Bluegrass (Action / Rockstar / Paloma) *E

• 5% Hard Fescue (Nanook / Reliant)

Instructions for use

Sparse existing lawn:

1. Mow the lawn to 5 cm (2 in).

2. Spread the seeds evenly to cover the entire surface.

3. Add a thin layer of soil (maximum 6 mm or 1/4 in) to cover the seeds.

4. Keep the soil moist for at least three weeks to ensure the germination of all grasses in the Herbionik mixture.

New lawn:

1. Clear the surface of all debris and weeds.

2. Add a 15 to 20 cm (6 to 8 in) layer of topsoil over the entire surface, then rake the covered area.

3. Using a rotary spreader, distribute the seeds evenly in two different directions (north-south and east-west).

4. Add a thin layer of soil (maximum 6 mm or 1/4 in) to cover the seeds.

5. Keep the soil moist for at least three weeks to ensure the germination of all grasses in the Herbionik mixture.

Tips for optimal results

• Add Herbionik® root fertilizer to stimulate the establishment of healthy roots.

• Use the complete Herbionik® fertilization program to prevent the spread of invasive weeds.

• Germination is optimal when soil temperature ranges between 14°C and 25°C and humidity remains constant.
